AI Discussion Club hosts an author book talk on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 6:00 PM to about 8:00 PM at the AWS Skills Center in Arlington. Author William Zhu discusses his book, Proof Over Promise: How to Build an Undeniable Career in the Age of AI, in conversation with Soo-Jin Lee. The event is free, and attendees receive an author signed paperback.
What to expect
The session is framed around one question: how do we pursue our dream career in the Age of AI? The organizers describe it as a conversation rather than a lecture and encourage attendees to bring their own questions. The page recommends a 5 minute animated summary video of the book if you want context beforehand.
