BSidesNoVA 2026 is the 10th edition of the BSides Northern Virginia cyber security conference. It runs over two days in Arlington: workshops on Friday, October 30, 2026, and the main conference on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

What to expect

BSidesNoVA describes itself as a community security conference built around collaboration. Friday is set aside for workshops and Saturday is the talks day. The organizer says the first 500 talks day ticket buyers receive an interactive badge that attendees can build. The organizer site also links to a N00BS Lounge page for people newer to the field, and notes that the theme, call for papers, and happy hours will be announced later.

Who should attend

The event is aimed at people working in or curious about cyber security. For a founder new to the DMV, it is a way to meet the regional security community, which is useful if you are building a security product or selling to customers with security requirements.

The schedule is hosted on Sessionize. At the time of writing it showed "Schedule not published yet," so no speakers or sessions are listed here. The Eventbrite listing shows hours starting at 8 AM; check the schedule for exact session times once it is posted.
