What to expect

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Workforce Development Community of Interest hosts a morning program on how hiring is changing as AI tools spread through recruiting. The event page also carries the title "The Future of Thinking: Humans, AI, and What Comes Next" and references MIT's Eric So, author of The Collision. No full speaker lineup or detailed schedule was published when we checked.

Topics

  • Rebuilding trust through transparency in hiring
  • Where AI helps recruiting and where human connection still matters
  • Skills employers need in the current market
  • How candidates can stand out in an AI-driven hiring process

Who should attend

Employers, recruiters, technology leaders and job seekers. For founders, it is most useful if you are making your first hires, setting up a recruiting process or deciding how much to rely on AI screening tools, and it is a chance to meet Northern Virginia tech employers.
