What to expect
Neurotech Entrepreneurship for Early Career Researchers, subtitled "From Bench to Business," is a casual networking event presented by NeuroTech Community. It connects early career researchers, postdocs and junior PIs with founders, operators and mentors working in neurotech, with the aim of starting conversations, finding collaborators and learning from people who have made similar moves from research into business. The organizers thank SfN for selecting the event and providing the space. Attendees will also get hands-on time with an open biosignal acquisition platform. Before arriving, guests are asked to think about one question: if funding and equipment were not a constraint, what question would you build a company around?
Who should attend
PhD trainees, postdocs, junior PIs and lab heads, neurotech founders and operators, and industry professionals, investors and analysts in the neuroscience and neurotechnology ecosystem.
