What to expect

NOVA Code & Coffee is an informal Saturday co-working session run by NoVA Code & Coffee, a group organized by DMV Petri Dish. This is session number 169, held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2026. At 10:15 AM everyone introduces themselves and shares what brought them in, whether that is a project, homework, or networking. After that, the rest of the session is open co-working in a shared space, with members helping each other as needed. Coffee and donuts are provided, and coffee and tea are typically served.

Who should attend

The organizers invite people of all skill levels. If you are a founder building a product, a technical cofounder looking for peers, or someone learning to code, this is a low-pressure way to work alongside other builders in Northern Virginia. Bring a laptop and your ideas.

Venue and access

This session takes place at Fairfax City Economic Development, 10300 Eaton Pl, Fairfax, VA 22030, in Conference Room A (Large) on Floor 1. The organizers note that this is a new venue for the group and that more details may follow. Parking on site is free. A bus from Vienna Metro Station takes about 22 minutes. The organizers describe biking from Vienna as possible but difficult; a bike rack is in the garage behind the building, and a Capital Bikeshare dock is about a 15 minute walk away. The session is sponsored by Fairfax City Economic Development and Mason Enterprise Center.

How to register
