What to expect
US Geospatial Day is a day of programming on the value of geospatial data on AWS and beyond. Element 84 and AWS are the hosts, with support from InfusionPoints. The organizers want to bring together civilian government agencies and the commercial organizations that support them. Sessions run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, followed by a happy hour from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The organizers say more programming and logistics details are coming.
Who should attend
The event is aimed at people working with civilian agencies and at the companies that serve them. Founders building in Earth observation, satellite data, mapping, climate analytics or geospatial AI will find it useful for understanding how federal agencies use this data and for meeting the commercial players in the space. If you are exploring government as a customer, the agency speakers are worth hearing.
