What to expect

ProductTank Washington DC, a local meetup for product people, hosts Andrew Skotzko for a talk called When Building Gets Cheap, Judgment Gets Expensive. The premise is that AI is sharply reducing the cost and time needed to build software, which shifts the hard part of product work to deciding what is worth building. Drawing on his book The Strategy Cycle, Skotzko offers a practical way to decide what to build, what to skip and what must be true for a bet to succeed.

Topics include choosing better bets, making real tradeoffs, telling faster execution apart from faster learning, and keeping speed from turning into chaos.

Who should attend

Founders, product managers and early product teams who are shipping quickly with AI tools and want a sharper way to prioritize. It is also a good way to meet the DC area product community.
