What to expect
The Charles County Economic Development Department's 2026 Fall Meeting is a half-day, in-person program built around the theme Entrepreneurship: Driving Economic Impact. It includes presentations from economic development professionals and thought leaders, plus breakout sessions on marketing strategies and funding opportunities for businesses. A full hot breakfast is included with your ticket.

Founders and small business owners in Charles County and Southern Maryland, people considering starting a business in the area, and anyone who wants to meet the county's economic development staff and learn what local funding and support exist. It is a practical way for a founder new to Southern Maryland to get connected.
