What to expect
This is the closing session of the six-session Entrepreneurship for the Common Good Speaker Series, led by Professor Jeff Reid and the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative. The session looks at how entrepreneurship can fit into your life and career plans, including how to start a venture without leaving your current job.
Agenda and speakers
- Keynote: Patrick McGinnis, author of The 10% Entrepreneur.
- Student Q&A: The keynote is followed by questions from students.
The session runs from 5:00 PM to 6:40 PM Eastern on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
Who should attend
The event is open to Georgetown students and the broader Georgetown community, and some attendees are enrolled in an entrepreneurship class. Partners listed on the page are the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance, the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Club, and the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club.
