What to expect

Innovators Connect is a recurring two-hour gathering hosted by the Dingman-Lamone Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland. The event page describes it as an interactive meetup for the UMD entrepreneurial community, organized around the theme Build. Belong. Grow. The format is built around light, interactive activations rather than a formal program, so expect an informal setting where you can move around, talk with other builders and ask questions.

The page says attendees can meet fellow builders and learn about programs, funding and resources available through the center. No detailed agenda or speakers have been published.

Who should attend

This is a good fit for UMD students, alumni, faculty and staff who are starting or exploring a venture, as well as founders who want a low-pressure way to find out what support the Dingman-Lamone Center offers. If you are new to the DMV and considering College Park as a base, it is also a practical way to meet people in the campus startup community and learn which university programs might be open to you.

Venue and access

The gathering takes place in the Executive Dining Hall, Room 2517, at 7621 Mowatt Ln, College Park, MD 20742, on the University of Maryland campus. It runs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check the event page before you go for any updates on room or parking details, which are not listed.

How to register

Registration is through Luma. The event page does not list a ticket price. Register at https://luma.com/f85cokgz so the organizers can plan for attendance.
