What to expect

The Tech100 Celebration is the annual awards evening of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), which describes itself as the association for the technology community in Northern Virginia. It runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2026. NVTC describes the night as a mix of recognition, networking, and celebration. Its Tech100 page says the program honors companies, executives, innovators, NextGen leaders, and rising stars, and that it expects more than 500 attendees.

Who should attend

NVTC says the event brings together the innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders of the region. For a founder new to the DMV, the main reason to go is to meet people across the regional tech community in one room. Applications for this year are closed, so attending now means going as a guest and not competing for an award. The event page has a 2025 Honorees tab, which gives a sense of the companies and people the program has recognized.

How to register

Registration offers a member ticket and a general ticket, but the page does not show 2026 prices, so check them at registration.
