What to expect
This is a practical, interactive two hour virtual clinic. It opens with a brief session, after which you choose one of four breakout rooms, each led by a business advisor. You can ask questions about your own situation and leave with an assignment or next step.

- Business planning: strengthening your concept and the core elements of a business plan.
- Seeking funding: funding options, what lenders look for, and readiness to seek capital.
- Tax compliance: tax responsibilities, recordkeeping, deadlines, and compliance requirements.

Who should attend
People planning or starting a business, especially in the Baltimore area, who want direct guidance from an advisor. Listed training topics are business financing, business plan, business start up and preplanning, and tax planning. If you are new to the DMV, this is a practical way to get answers on registration and taxes in Maryland.
